How do you actually build a functional live setup for electronic music? This workshop is aimed at beginners and offers a practical introduction to the world of live electronics and hybrid live performance.
Berlin-based live act BONDI breaks down his personal workflow and demonstrates how individual devices, Ableton Live, and MIDI controllers can be combined into a performable live set. The workshop focuses on basic hardware connections, audio interfaces, MIDI controllers, external synthesizers, and drum machines — as well as how to connect and integrate these elements in a meaningful way.
The session also explores Ableton Live in a performance context: Session View, clip launching, live manipulation, effects, and building a flexible live template. Participants will gain an accessible introduction to how electronic music can be played, controlled, and reshaped live — from the first setup to dynamic moments on stage.

BONDI

Daniel Archut is a Berlin-based musician, producer, and live performer. Best known under his alias Bondi, he has played live and DJ sets around the world and has over ten years of experience in electronic music production and performance. He previously worked at the Abbey Road Institute Berlin, where he taught students Logic Pro, sampling techniques, synthesis, and the fundamentals of building and performing a live electronic set. Daniel also works with German hip-hop artist TUA as a playback engineer, where he built the complete live rig and produced the Ableton live show.
