From August 3 to 9, 2026, the Zurich Music Week will celebrate its fourth edition. What began as an experimental project has evolved into an established festival that each year in August celebrates electronic music culture and its creative diversity. Since 2017, Zurich's techno culture has officially been part of UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage in Switzerland.
The Zurich Music Week aims to foster talent development, enable professional exchange, and leverage synergies within the electronic music scene to create an international platform. It emphasizes connecting artists, managers, labels, venues, promoters, clubs, and music enthusiasts through a specially designed program to promote exchange and collaboration within electronic music.
With panel discussions, live concerts, lectures, podcasts, demo listening sessions, workshops, and parties, the Zurich Music Week takes advantage of Zurich's unique geographic location to create a melting pot for the industry in the heart of Europe and further enhance the international appeal of the electronic music scene.
