The focus lies on intuitive production methods, creative accidents, and finding ways to bring movement and character into electronic music without getting lost in endless automation or perfectionism.
Using concrete examples from his own productions, Gespona explains how he uses Max for Live devices, audio recordings, and unconventional production techniques to discover new sounds and overcome creative blocks. Instead of automating everything with the mouse, he demonstrates how spontaneous audio recording can be used to create more organic grooves, transitions, and so-called “happy accidents.”
The session also includes insights into saturation, layering, and mixdown techniques that can make tracks sound bigger, warmer, and more effective in a club context.
